Building on the efforts of a John A. Hartford Foundation funded "Toward Optimal Care: Integrating Geriatrics into the Subspecialties of Internal Medicine," ASP develped a four-year project to further embed excellence of geriatrics and gerontology into internal medicine. Through the continued support of the John A. Hartford Foundation, ASP will work with the National Institutes of Health and internal medicine specialty societies to further integrate geriatrics into the specialties of internal medicine.
