As the number of seniors continues to rise sharply, caring for the elderly population has become a national priority. AAIM and its member organizations pursue efforts to better prepare internists to care for the increasing number of elderly patients. Two major initiatives, led by the Association of Specialty Professors, specifically aim to achieve this goal.
