The AAIM Advocacy Committee has constructed a statement, Meeting the Nation’s Need for Physician Services: A Response to the Anticipated Physician Shortage, in response to the anticipated physician workforce shortage.
This statement will serve as AAIM’s stance on the issue, giving the organization a voice at the table and allowing AAIM to participate in stakeholder discussions regarding how to respond to and resolve the impending shortage. Health care reform discussions will likely take place early in the administration of the next president and 111th Congress.
